Bentley Continental 24 is a limited-run model dedicated to the Nürburgring 24-Hour race

It’s a Continental Supersports with styling cues from Continental GT3 race cars

This year Bentley entered the Nürburgring 24 Hours race for the third consecutive year with European racing partners Bentley Team ABT.

One of the three Continental GT3s entered won its class and ranked 15th overall, but the gruesome race also marked the launch of a new limited edition Bentley, the "Continental 24" coupé.

Commissioned specifically for the European market in just 24 units, the special edition model uses the Continental Supersports as its foundation, spicing it up with a series of exterior and interior design cues inspired by the Continental GT3 cars that ran at the Nürburgring 24 Hours.

Take the paintwork, for example. The Continental 24 is available in two unique duotone paint combinations: Monaco Yellow over Black Crystal or St James' Red over Black Crystal. And if any of these two combinations are a bit too flashy for you, Bentley will allow you to specify your car in a single-tone exterior too, available as a no-cost option.

The exterior is also made unique thanks to black 21-inch lightweight forged wheels that can be finished with yellow or red accents to match the body color. Standard features also include carbon fiber mirror caps, black brake calipers, and an all-black exterior brightware.

The cabin continues the race theme by packing carbon fiber fascias, door panels and individually-numbered tread plates, with an accent color theme matching the exterior paint. All four Alcantara-wrapped seats feature diamond quilting, with the headrests sporting a unique emblem. Finally, "Continental 24" inlays are fitted to the fascias.

The 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine sourced from the Continental Supersports produces 700 hp and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque, allowing the Continental 24 to reach a top speed of 336 km/h (209 mph) and sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.5 seconds.

Deliveries will begin in July 2017, with prices starting at €250,000 (about $280,000).
