Businessman Puts 80,000 Miles on His McLaren 12C Spider in Three Years

All supercar owners should be like Mr. Urs Tschudin

Supercars are not typically bought to be used as daily drivers, with most owners taking them for a spin only on a sunny day, mostly during the weekends when the roads are less congested.

Not Mr. Urs Tschudin, though. The Swiss businessman has bought a McLaren 12C Spider three and a half years ago and has been driving it on a daily basis ever since. In doing so, he has already racked up more than 130,000 kilometers (80,000 miles), which probably means that he owns the highest mileage McLaren in the world.

The owner of a machine tool business, Mr. Tschudin has been using the British supercar as a company car, paying visits to some of his customers in Switzerland and other European countries. This explains the gray color he chose for the 12C Spider, as it looks less conspicuous.

As you will see in the video, the businessman is thrilled about the car, having driven it in all sorts of weather and road conditions. This speaks volumes about the 12C Spider’s all-round capabilities.

He says he plans to keep the 12C Spider and double its current mileage in the coming years. We absolutely agree with him, as supercars should be driven as much as possible. Way to go, Mr. Tschudin!
