La tête dans le cul is a wonderful series of hangovered cars

See what happens when both overhangs are merged on a single axle

French artist Soufyane thought about merging the front overhang with the rear. On a single axis. The results are stunning.

You see, the road from a new car design to automotive icon passes through the way a car is proportioned.

Its front overhang often decides if it will catch people's imagination or become just another sports car nobody talks about – a long hood leads to a sleek and dynamic line; a short hood usually means agility is more important than speed.

And its rear is usually the cherry on top – a sexy, rounded back usually elicits much more emotion than a chopped off one, but the latter can receive a huge spoiler to add some needed downforce and pizzazz.

Now, merging the two, as Soufyane did, is nothing short of genius: the combination looks like the cars suffer from a nasty hangover.

That's precisely Soufyane's wordplay: La tête dans le cul means `hangover` in French, so yeah, you can now see how cars could look if they'd suffer from alcohol intoxication.
