Russian artist uses filthy cars as canvas

If you have months’ worth of dirt on your car, don’t clean it, ask this guy to make art out of it instead

This could be called a twist on the age-old “wash me” you oftentimes see written on dirty cars, although it is taken to an entirely new level. So if you live in Moscow and don’t wash your van or small truck, there is a high chance of it being turned into art over night.

There’s a street artist prowling the Russian capital’s street, scouring them for the dirtiest box truck he can find. He then proceeds to clean the dirt in such a way that he creates intricate images portraying different scenes or faces – he uses no brush, but his bare hand, lending his works a very personal look and feel.

And he’s undeniably talented too – I mean just look at that owl face – that’s a haunting face that will stick with you for weeks after you’ve seen it… probably.
