Stig drives the world’s fastest bumper car

No, really, he does and cracks 100 mph in it

Bumper cars or dodgems as they’re known in the UK are a theme park favorite, but they’re usually electric and confined to a conductive floor and ceiling used to give them power. Not this one, though, as it’s been slightly modified by Colin Furze, whom you may know from his YouTube channel where he creates crazy mechanical that either goes fast when it shouldn’t or just looks cool.

This bumper car he modified is a sleeper if we’ve ever seen one – its exterior look has been kept the same, and were it not to drive on tarmac and make a distinctly motorcycle-like sound, one could almost be fooled… he even kept the electricity pole and everything.

The engine he used in it is a 100 hp 600 cc four-cylinder, it has two wheels at the back and two at the front, with the difference being the front ones are almost touching, whereas the rears are further apart and offer more stability.

It’s undeniably a highly dangerous contraption, but one that can be driven / ridden very quickly, as the Top Gear Stig demonstrates in the opening video. If you want to check out the entire build process, check out the two other videos linked here.
