In Geneva, we got up close and personal with the 2017 Hyundai i30's estate variant, and the conclusion goes like this.
Inside, materials are better than expected, and Hyundai decided to hide the nail-braking plastics in the lower area of the cabin. A good impression comes from the supportive, comfy seats, both up front and at the rear.
Space management could have been a tad better in the backseat, but for average-sized adults, traveling with other two fellow passengers by their side should happen in fair conditions. Also, we'd have liked deeper footwells under the front seats, for example.
Otherwise, the practicality credentials include a huge boot and well-placed and proper-sized pockets and cubby holes.
