Mazzanti Evantra 771 to Debut at Bologna Motor Show with 20 HP Bump, Dedicated Livery

The updated exterior and interior styling reminds of the Evantra Millecavalli

Mazzanti Automobili, the Italian low-volume sports car manufacturer, has given its Evantra supercar a power and styling upgrade for the Bologna Motor Show (December 3-11).

Called the Evantra 771, the updated supercar now comes with 771 hp from the naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine, an increase of 20 hp over the standard car's 751 hp. It's hard to believe a power bump of just 20 hp can make a difference on a supercar, but the folks from Mazzanti claim the 771 pack improves the Evantra's drivability. We don't know whether they increased peak torque as well, which in the case of the standard Evantra is a generous 860 Nm at 5,000 rpm.

The first example developed with this pack also wears a dedicated livery that is a reference to the company logo of Mazzanti Automobili. Changes also include improved aerodynamics inspired by the Evantra Millecavalli hypercar. The aero pack consists of a new splitter in the front, a renewed air intake on the roof, as well as more streamlined mirrors and rear wing.

Changes have been made inside too, with the Evantra 771's cabin mimicking the Millecavalli version as well. The interior features new digital elements as well as a more simple overall design.

Available from spring 2017, the Mazzanti Evantra 771 can be bought as a complete car or as an upgrade pack for owners of standard Evantra models.
