Next-gen Dacia Duster will look very close to this rendering

We say its design will be an evolution of the current model’s

Dacia doesn’t want to change the Duster’s winning formula too much in its second generation – it will look similar, but a bit bigger, based on a recent batch of spy shots we received. In that respect, we say this speculative rendering by OmniAuto is spot on in terms of looks.

Unlike the current model, gen two will get two wheelbase variants: short wheelbase with five seats and long wheelbase with seven seats. The vehicle portrayed in the rendering and the one in our spy shots is the five-seater that will for the most part be about the same size as the current model.

The next Duster may ride on the CMF platform shared with the Nissan X-Trail and Renault Kadjar, but since that sounds like it will seriously up the price, an updated version of the current car’s underpinnings is a high possibility also.

Its debut is expected at the Frankfurt motor show, but one source claimed it’s actually going to be revealed much earlier, on June 22, during a special unveiling event in Paris.
