Toyota Subtly Updates Avensis, Auris, Yaris and Verso For the 2017 Model Year

Naturally, changes are minimal

Toyota is gearing up its core European lineup for the 2017 model year with a hushed refresh targeting the likes of Avensis, Auris, Yaris and Verso.

A new exterior color is available for the 2017 Avensis, namely Tokyo Red, together with redesigned 18-inch machined alloy wheels.

Just like the Avensis, Toyota's Auris compact can be ordered in Tokyo Red. Furthermore, the range gets 17-inch alloys and sports seats wrapped in black Alcantara upholstery.

Even more important, the Auris hatchback and Auris Touring Sports grades offer as standard Toyota's Safety Sense bundle, including the pre-collision system, automatic high beam, and lane departure alert.

Moreover, the 2017 Toyota Yaris takes the Red Tokyo and offers it in monotone or bi-tone versions, with the latter also getting a metallic finish for the roof, A-pillars, and door mirrors.

Last but not least, the Verso received new seat upholstery for the mid-grade models, featuring contrasting red stitches that match the aforementioned body hue, coupled with 17-inch wheels.

The updated range goes on sale in this month.
