2017 Chevrolet Trax Prices Announced

Will hit Chevrolet dealerships this fall

If you plan on adding a subcompact SUV in your garage, Chevy promises you a new, restyled Trax in the $20k range, only $700 over the old one. The entry-level trim is tagged at $21,895, a price that includes an $895 destination charge.

The LTZ trim is now dubbed Premier and starts at $26,995 in the front-wheel-drive midrange guise while the all-wheel-drive, top-of-the-line version will ask for $28,495.

No changes on the 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Ecotec unit, so you'll have 138 hp mated to a six-speed automatic transmission to move yourself around the city in this sparkly, refreshed SUV.

Over the actual generation, the 2017 Trax comes with more optional safety equipment, with a new infotainment system (with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay as an optional feature), LED lighting and 18" wheels.
