Ford says the electronic line-lock feature is now unlocked on all Mustangs as standard, including the 2.3-liter EcoBoost version. The Mustang GT V8 already came with the feature.
With it comes an animation that actually shows a wheel spinning in a cloud of smoke on the Mustang's new 12-inch digital instrument cluster.
Moreover, the Line-Lock comes both with the automatic ten-speed gearbox and the six-speed manual. Line-Lock was comes from drag racing where it is widely used to warm up the tires before the start for optimum grip levels.
