Factory-installed upgrades bump up GMC Sierra’s capabilities off the beaten path
GMC is now offering the 2019 Sierra AT4 truck with the Off-Road Performance Package created for those who want more control and trail-cruising abilities.
As things stand, the 2019 GM AT4 Sierra relies on a 6.2-liter V8 bolted to a 10-speed automatic transmission complemented by 18-inch aluminum wheels shod in Goodyear Wrangler Dataram tires.
In addition, AT4 also brings a cat-back performance exhaust setup and air intake. Off-roading bragging rights are earned courtesy of a two-inch factory lift kit for the suspension, 4WD with a two-speed transfer case, locking rear diff and skid plates but also the likes of Hill Descent Control and Traction Select System.
The V8 churns out 435 hp and 469 lb-ft of torque, which represents a boost of 15 hp and 9 lb-ft of twist over the standard offering.
The Sierra AT4 Off-Road Performance Package can be had for $4,940 MSRP.
