A candidate for the longest name given to a car if there ever was one
Say hello to MINI’s latest limited edition model for the United States, the John Cooper Works Hardtop International Orange Edition.
The ridiculous name says all you need to know about the car, which is a JCW hatch painted International Orange.
MINI will officially reveal the car during the brand’s biennial owners road rally “MINI Takes the States,” which kicks off on July 14.
[NativeAd]Besides the orange painted body and roof combination, the MINI John Cooper Works International Orange Edition brings unique appearance elements including a high gloss Midnight Black Metallic roof spoiler, Ferric Gray 18-inch double spoke JCW alloys, JCW Pro exhaust with Bluetooth controlled flap, and JCW chrome tailpipe trims.
Also providing contrast to the orange paint are the carbon fiber mirror caps, custom black fuel filler cap, high gloss black door handles, and custom black side stripes and bumper decals.
The model also brings a more comprehensive standard equipment over the base JCW — and it should, because it costs $8,100 more. It adds stuff like a panorama roof, Harman Kardon Sound System, Head Up Display, Touchscreen Navigation Package, heated front seats, automatic climate control, and more.
The MINI John Cooper Works International Orange Edition will arrive in dealerships across the U.S. starting this fall, with a $39,900 starting price (excluding a $850 Destination & Handling fee).
