ABT Tempts the Family Man With this Devilish Red RS6+

A family man’s default sin car

ABT Sportsline will bring its latest creation, the RS6+, at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. The “+” is a strong hint for the power upgrade the lunatic family man’s dream car has put through. Fun fact: the “Plus” designation was previously used by Audi to describe more powerful editions. At Audi, the “Plus” now changed to “Performance.”

The RS6+ is some 98 hp, 96 lb-ft (130 Nm) more powerful than the usual RS6 — who’s 4.0-liter V8 packs 597 hp (605 PS) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. Performance-wise, we don’t know yet how much faster the 695 hp (705 PS), 649 lb-ft (880 Nm) RS6+ is compared to the stock car’s 3.7-second 0-to-62 and 174 mph (280 km/h) figures.

The RS6 Avant looks bonkers even in factory trim, so it’s hard to raise the bar when it comes to this car’s presence. So ABT approached the RS6’s visuals with subtelty—a very good decision, we’d add. The body’s add-on bits are, naturally, carbon-fiber made, the dark accents making the devilish red coating stand out even more. The package is completed by a stainless-steel exhaust system (ending in double-barrel tailpipes), and black 22-inch rims.

The spacious interior is adorned with carbon-fiber inserts, special floor mats and a carbon-fiber-and-leather steering wheel. Only 50 units will be made, with pricing waiting to be announced.
