In the M40i guise, X4 hosts the 3.0-liter I6 engine also found on the M2. Only here it delivers ‘just’ 355 hp, ten units short of the M2. Still, is good for 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds, thanks to the eight-speed ZF ‘box and the superb all-wheel-drive xDrive system.
