Europe’s Nissan 370Z coupé mildly updated for the 2018 model year

The cosmetic tweaks are aimed at keeping it relevant for one more year

Following the reveal of the updated US-spec Nissan 370Z earlier this year, the automaker is giving the European-spec model a similar refresh.

Set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Nissan 370Z MY18 gains mostly aesthetic modifications that are said to bring "a contemporary new finish to the coupé's classic design."

The upgrades are similar to the US-spec model but only apply to the coupé body style — the 370Z roadster and 370Z NISMO carry on unchanged. Styling updates include black door handles and a black rear bumper fascia, as well as smoked headlights and taillights — previously only available on the NISMO version.

Furthermore, the 370Z MY18 sports new 19-inch alloy wheels and a newly-available Red Metallic exterior body color.

Content-wise, the 370Z with manual transmission feature a new EXEDY high-performance clutch that is said to reduce driver pedal effort while delivering improved gear change precision and comfort.

The list of fresh available options includes the NissanConnect Premium infotainment system that comes with a seven-inch touch-screen, sat-nav, DVD player, and rear-view camera.

Nothing changes as far as the engine is concerned, with the 370Z MY18 featuring the same 328-hp 3.7-liter V6 that drives the rear wheels via a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional seven-speed automatic. The updated Nissan 370Z is already on sale across Europe.
