Facelifted Suzuki SX4 S-Cross Gets Sad New Face, Turbo Engines

Changes are more than skin deep

Besides the all-new Ignis in European specification, Suzuki’s booth at the 2016 Paris Motor Show will also feature the facelifted SX4 S-Cross.

The small crossover has received a new face as well as a refreshed interior that is said to feature better quality materials. The front end sees the most changes: it features new headlights with integrated DRLs, a chrome grille bigger than before, new bumper and engine hood.

The SX4 S-Cross is now easier to spot on the street, but we’re not sure if it’s for the right reasons. Changes are more subtle at the rear, with a refreshed bumper and slightly redesigned taillights and tailgate.

Other significant upgrades are under the bonnet, with the 1.0-liter and 1.4-liter BoosterJet direct-injection turbocharged gasoline engines replacing the existing model’s 1.6-liter naturally aspirated unit. However, no specs were released.

That’s all the information we have for now, but Suzuki said it will offer more details at the Paris Motor Show.
