Ford F-150 Baja 1000 truck 360 degree action video

Ford is really proud its stock Raptor completed the grueling rally

You may not be a fan of 360 degree videos (yet), but they do manage to put you right in the action with a greater sense of immersion, which is why it’s definitely a fitting way to show off Ford’s F-150 Raptor truck that took part in the Baja 1000 rally.

In fact, Ford has optimized the video to be viewed with a VR headset, if you’re into that sort of thing. It shows tidbits of the truck in action during last year’s Baja 1000, where the truck completed the course “stopping only for minor adjustments.”

Aside from showing the Baja-ready truck (which was more or less stock) doing its thing, the video also focuses on the fact that the team uses more Ford truck support vehicles: F-150s, Raptors and Superdutys. Ford tries to emphasize their ruggedness in difficult rally conditions over rough ground that needs to be covered fast.

The video is still basically about showing how big a badass the Raptor is, which is why you should stop reading and start watching.

Henry Ford III, Global Marketing Manager of Ford Performance says “Born to Baja’ showcases the Built Ford Tough attitude that is at the heart of this performance monster. This grueling race proves once again that we have the most-capable, production off-road truck in the industry.”
