Is Lexus working on an LS F?

This photo is allegedly from a Japanese magazine and what it shows is F version of the new LS

Lexus is just now rolling out its new LS flagship sedan with V6 and hybrid powertrains, but with this generation there’s a chance they might make a turbocharged F variant for the very first time. The photo you see here appears to be a snapshot of a Japanese car mag page and what it shows is quite a credible LS F.

The photo was discovered on the jzsinternational Instagram account and posted on reddit where it was picked up by other outlets.

And there is some plausibility behind it since Lexus is also reportedly working on a twin-turbo V8 with 590 hp – it would be perfect to power an LS-sized barge up to the same level of performance as a Mercedes S63 AMG. According to LexusEntusiast, the engine will be a downsized 4.0-liter mill that will most likely find its way under the hoods of the LC F and GS F.

Whatever they decide to do, this photo shows there would be plenty of visual potential to make the latest LS a proper luxury muscle car and give the German establishment a proverbial run for its money.
