That’s a £4,300 upgrade over the cheapest Yeti
Available in four trim levels from launch (S, SE, SE L, and Edition), the Skoda Kodiaq starts at £21,495 (OTR) for the base S trim with the 125 PS (123 hp) 1.4 TSI engine.
Available to order from November 2016, the Kodiaq offers five engine options, with 4×4 and DSG transmissions available as optional extras. In total, the Skoda Kodiaq will be available in 24 different variants, with all models offering alloy wheels, touchscreen infotainment systems, and air conditioning as standard.
The entry-level S grade offers standard equipment such as LED DRLs, 17-inch Ratikon alloy wheels, leather multifunction steering wheel, manual air conditioning, Swing touchscreen infotainment system, DAB digital radio, and SmartLink for smartphone connectivity. Other standard features include Front Assist and KESSY Go. The S grade is only available with the 1.4-liter TSI turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 125 PS (123 hp).
SE models start from £22,945 and add more features as standard as well as a broader range of engines. These include the 150 PS (148 hp) 1.4 TSI, 180 PS (178 hp) 2.0 TSI, and 2.0 TDI available in three states of tune 115 PS (113 hp), 150 PS (148 hp), and 190 PS (187 hp). Seven seats are available as a £1,000 option in SE trim.
Further up the range, SE L models start from £28,595 and come with a generous list of features, including seven seats, powered tailgate, 19-inch Sirius alloy wheels, Drive Mode Select, Alcantara upholstery, heated front seats, full LED headlights, and Columbus navigation system with WiFi.
Finally, the new range-topping Edition grade is priced from £30,695 and adds 19-inch Triglav alloy wheels, seven seats, leather upholstery, metallic paint and chrome roof rails, among other things. Tech features include Lane Assist, High Beam Assist, wireless charging and phone box, and Blind spot detection.
The first UK deliveries of the Skoda Kodiaq are expected in April 2017.
