Will slot in below Kona in the Hyundai range
Our spies have snapped what is most likely Hyundai’s smallest high riding vehicle testing in Death Valley, California. The model is still under heavy camo, but we can already spot its upright stance, as well as a split light cluster front fascia similar to that of the larger Kona (sister vehicle of the Kia Stonic).
It is believed that this as of yet unnamed model will not only slot beneath the Kona crossover, but also replace the Accent hatchback, at least for the US market.
Other details regarding this model have not been made public, but expect it to be powered by the same engines found in the Kona; all-wheel drive may be offered, but most examples will probably be front-wheel drive only.
Expect to see this model hit showrooms around the year 2020.
