Techrules Is Working With Giugiaro on China’s First Supercar

Unsurprisingly, it looks amazing

China is preparing its first supercar, through a startup initiative. It is dubbed Techrules GT96, and you've already seen it in concept guise at this year's Geneva Motor Show.

Now we find it didn't remain a mere concept car (as it happens with a lot of project like this one), the guys from Techrules are working with Giugiaro and Gianetti (renowned designer, respectively engineering and production specialist).

The word is, that at next year's Geneva Motor Show, we are going to be introduced to the road-ready version of the GT96.

We don't know yet how much of the concept's showcased tech will find its way in the production version, but if it's going to happen, prepare to be astonished by its figures. It's got six electric engines, 1,030 hp and 6,372 lb-ft torque, a 0-to-60 mph time of 2.5 seconds and a range of 1,243 miles.
