Volvo S60 Polestar Races Iron Knight Truck in Domestic Brawl

Can these brutes reach common ground?

They might come from opposite worlds, but they're born and bred in the same crib.

Volvo and Volvo Trucks pulled a stunt previously attempted by Volkswagen and Red Bull, where a Polo WRC got chased by a Kamaz truck on a rally stage in Finland.

Volvo's interpretation, however, involves the WTCC battle-worn S60 Polestar TC1 and the world's fastest truck going by the name of Iron Knight.

Unlike the Kamaz-Polo skirmish, the two universe-apart Volvos had to compete in a rather civilized competition split between a quarter mile race and a classic track duel on Sweden's Mantorp Park circuit.

Will Iron Knight's 2,400 hp and 6,000 Nm of torque be enough to shake off the S60's agility? Then again, can David remain composed in front of Goliath?
