That’s quick

After we’ve had a look a the first reviews concentrating on Mercedes-AMG’s new hot hatch, it’s now time to see how quick the A 35 really is in a straight line.

For that, we’ve scouted the internet and YouTube to come up with Automann-TV’s video, which calls the new Mercedes-AMG A 35 punchy and emotional to drive.

We’re sure you’re very well aware of the pocket-rocket’s firepower, but we’ll mention some specs once again.

The Mercedes-AMG A 35 relies on a turbocharged 2-liter four-cylinder engine which churns out 302 hp (306 PS) and 400 Nm of twist.

Mercedes-AMG says the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint is cleared in 4.7 seconds, while top speed sits at an electronically-limited value of 250 km/h (155 mph).

The sprint time is lowered thanks to an AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive setup but credit must also go to the seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7G dual-clutch gearbox that now has a RACE-START function.

With that being said, feel free to head below to see the Mercedes-AMG A 35 perform in real life.
