Zenvo Celebrates 10th Anniversary With One-Off TS1 GT in Geneva

It may look the same as it always has, but it’s apparently much improved in many important ways

Denmark’s Zenvo is about as boutique as boutique supercar makers get in that their products are horrendously expensive and you rarely get to hear of them. The company is is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and in order to mark the occasion it’s going to bring a special, one-off TS1 GT to the Geneva motor show.

Troels Vollertsen, Technical Director and Founder of Zenvo, explained why this particular TS1 is so special. He says “presenting this car in Geneva and celebrating our tenth anniversary makes me very proud and humble. We have achieved so much with a small team of highly dedicated and capable individuals. All of us recognize our heritage as pioneers of technology and remain totally committed to continue to produce and develop Zenvo cars which provide our owners and drivers with a sensational experience of performance, quality and perfect driving pleasure which is the DNA of our brand and our cars. We look forward with great excitement to the next ten years.”

The TS1 GT packs a 5.8-liter V8 engine which is twin-supercharged to make 1,163 hp and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) torque. Its body is made of carbon fiber wrapped around an aluminum and steel frame – its dry weight is 1,580 kg or 3,485 lbs.

Now while it may look the same as the TS1 you know from 2009, the GT features many improvements under the skin, it’s built in a new factory and built by a team peppered with new specialists that came on board more recently.
