Hello and welcome everybody, this is the Hennessey Performance show, where a modded Jeep Trackhawk pushing 1,000 hp takes on the 2018 Ford GT in, of course, a drag race.

Just in case you’re not up do date with Hennessey Performance’s work, here’s the thing: they took a Jeep Trackhawk and boosted its horsies to 1,000, a major improvement from the also-not-to-be-neglected 707 hp coming from the factory-spec 6.2-liter V8.

Why are we filling your heads with this? Because the Texan tuner decided to pit their rhino-SUV against the 2018 Ford GT, which could be seen as the car corresponded of a cheetah in this particular case.

Speaking of which, a closer look at the video will reveal to you that the Ford GT in question is the 2018 Heritage Edition we saw being dropped in Hennessey’s backyard earlier this year. The video's caption says it's in stock form, so it should be good for 647 hp.

Now that we’ve met the two contestants, we’re willing to let the video below answer the question that probably generated it in the first place.

So, what happens when a 2018 Ford GT meets Hennessey’s take on the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk?

There’s your answer:
