Lincoln has taken the wraps off the new Aviator SUV right on the catwalk provided by the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The three-row SUV offers available all-wheel drive and two powertrain choices: one hybrid and one centered around an ICE.

The latter involves a turbocharged 3-liter V6 mill twinned with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. Power output is expected to reach 400 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque “for effortless acceleration.”

For the hybrid version, Lincoln predicts a total power output of 450 hp and 600 lb-ft of twist.

Cabin-wise, the 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster can be configured according to the user’s taste or needs.

Five driving modes are offered – Normal, Conserve, Excite, Slippery and Deep Conditions. They are joined by the likes of Pure EV and Preserve EV, for a tailored use of the electrified resources.

In addition, Lincoln says you can use your smartphone instead of a traditional car key to open the doors and drive away in the Aviator.

Also on the tech front, Lincoln is offering a 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D Audio System which “recreates an authentic concert-hall experience.”

Moreover, the front seats allow for 30-way adjustability, plus massage and additional lumbar support.
