Good news! Dacia has announced pricing information for the all-new Duster in France, and the base model costs the same as the previous-generation Duster.

More specifically, pricing starts from €11,990 (all taxes included), which will buy you a front-wheel-drive Duster SCe 115 fitted with a five-speed manual transmission.

The starting price remains the same despite the SUV's fully revised exterior design, the refreshed interior, and the upgraded equipment. In France, the 2017 Duster will be available in four trim levels: Duster, Essentiel, Confort, and Prestige.

Standard features for the entry-level Duster include six airbags, automatic headlight activation, speed limited, variable electric power steering, front power windows, LED DRLs, central locking, body-color bumpers, and Isofix points for the outer rear seats.

Upgrading to the Essential grade costs €1,860 (for the SCe 115 4×2 model) and adds manual climate control, height- and reach-adjustable steering wheel, height-adjustable driver's seat, 60/40-split rear seat, Plug&Music radio, and Hill Descent Control (only in 4×4 guise).

The Confort trim is available from €16,650 (TCe 125 4×2) and comes with additional standard features such as rear parking sensors, cruise control, power-adjustable defrosting side mirrors, power rear windows, and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Finally, the range-topping Prestige model comes with all of the above plus an array of additional features. Those include a reversing camera, automatic climate control, Media Nav Evolution with eco-coaching and 4×4 data (for 4×4 models), lumbar-adjustable driver's seat with integrated armrest, two dashboard-mounted tweeters, stowage draw under the front passenger seat, and the Exterior Look Pack with satin-finish elements and 17-inch wheels. The cheapest Duster Prestige costs €17,750 (TCe 125 4×2).

Overall, the prices of the second-generation Duster in France range from €11,990 for the Duster SCe 115 4×2 to €20,650 for the Duster Prestige dCi 110 4×4. Obviously, you can buy an even more expensive Duster if you add new optional extras such as the multiview camera, Blind Spot Warning, and keyless entry and start.

The engine lineup is the same as on the previous Duster and includes the SCe 115 1.6-liter and TCe 125 1.2-liter gasoline units, as well as the dCi 90 and dCi 110 1.5-liter diesels. Also available is the SCe 115 LPG bi-fuel version.
