Ferrari F1 drivers try out the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio

They don’t say anything, but their faces tell a tale of pure enjoyment

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is one of the most exciting sedans you can throw your checkbook at today, featuring a strong engine, a super stiff chassis and the kind of oh-so Italian styling that will make you shout “Madonna!” when one burbles past. To emphasize this fact, Alfa has put all three of Ferrari’s F1 drivers behind the wheel of one for a promo shoot around the Balocco test track.

What resulted is a video that while lacking in any kind of commentary conveys the drivers’ enjoyment and emotional connection to the car. It makes the Giulia QV look like a complete hoot to throw around a track sans any kind of electronic aid, relying on its superb chassis balance to get you out of trouble.

We liked this video as it really encapsulates the wild spirit of the car and we hope it’s a glimpse of the philosophy behind future Alfa products that won’t be lacking in excitement.
