Amateur video gives us an idea of what the Chevy Camaro SS looks in the metal
The refreshed 2019 Camaro lineup is here, including the SS trim which makes the subject of this rather brief walk-around video.
The video’s description mentions the car was actually a factory test mule but it does wear the stylistic changes Chevrolet brought to the Camaro range with the mid-life facelift.
Sure, seen live while casually siting in a parking lot the 2019 Camaro SS loses some of the drama brought by the highly edited press photos, but the differences are spottable.
Moreover, the car hear features the Chevy flow bowtie logo nicely embedded into the front grille but also a hood air scoop we haven’t seen in the official photos. Could this be as part of an additional appearance pack? Well, it’s possible.
The 2019 Chevrolet Camaro SS can be now had with the 10L80 10-speed automatic gearbox with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters and the likes of launch control and line lock.
In addition, Chevy fitted the Camaro SS with a rear camera mirror and forward collision alert. The carmaker’s Infotainment 3 software is also included.
