The range-topping trim levels make Infiniti’s SUVs look more upscale
Infiniti will bring two posh SUVs to the New York Auto Show that debuts later this week (March 30-April 8). Sitting at the top of their respective lineups, the 2019 QX60 Limited and 2019 QX80 Limited feature a more luxurious treatment both on the inside and the outside.
Starting with the smaller QX60 Limited, exterior updates include a dark chrome front grille, fog lamp finishers, and door moldings, as well as dark roof rails and cross bars, gloss black rear bumper element, and "Limited" rear hatch emblem. Rounding off the upscale treatment are the exclusive 20-inch dark alloy wheels shod with 235/55R-20 all-season tires.
Inside, the 2019 QX60 Limited brings goodies such as unique contrast stitching throughout the cabin, stone-colored semi-aniline leather seats, dark silver wood accents, black headliner and pillars, leather-wrapped grab handles and airbag cover on the steering wheel, and more. Unique floor mats and cargo mat with metal logo are also included. As with lesser QX60 models, the Limited model features a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft (366 Nm) of torque.
Moving on to the 2019 QX80 Limited, the massive SUV brings similar exterior styling upgrades. These include dark machine-finished 22-inch forged alloys, stainless steel running boards with rubber grips, satin chrome exterior trim, roof rails and crossbars, unique front and rear bumper lower treatment, branded welcome lighting, and "Limited" rear hatch emblem. Customers can choose from five exterior colors, including a new Anthracite Gray hue that's exclusive to the Limited model.
The cabin gains two-tone semi-aniline leather/Alcantara-appointed seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift knob and grab handles, matte silver open-pore Ash wood trim, and black Ultrasuede headliner and pillars. Furthermore, the QX80 Limited features satin-chrome door handle trim, premium floor mats and cargo mat with metal logo, illuminated kick plates, and "Limited" metal inlay in the center console.
The powertrain remains the same as in the regular QX80: a 400-hp 5.6-liter V8 engine mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. The Infiniti All-mode 4WD and Hydraulic Body Motion Control system are standard.
The 2019 QX60 Limited and 2019 QX80 Limited will arrive at Infiniti dealers beginning this spring and summer, respectively. Prices will be released closer to their on-sale dates.
