In case you didn’t pin it, it’d be a coupe-like version of the X7 large SUV
People interested in cars went berserk when BMW revealed the production-previewing X7 Concept, calling it ugly. But the Bavarian automaker will nonetheless put it into production more or less unchanged and now according to a rumor mill report it might spawn a coupe-like model too.
BMW Blog states only that it’s “heard rumors” of a possible BMW X8 which would be like the X6 equivalent to the more traditional looking X5, but based on the larger X7. Basically, it’d be like the X6 but larger and with design cues from the X7.
The rendering you see here we found on Carscoops by artist Aksyonov Nikita from St. Petersburg, Russia and it saddens us to say it looks spot on – if BMW genuinely made one of these, it would not differ much from this PhotoShop job.
