Provides the Arteon no extra go, though
VW Arteon is already a sleek and sporty looking car which is just about to hit the US market, and just like everywhere else it is sold, you can enhance its that look via an R-Line Appearance Package. Adding bits both inside and out and promises to “augment the all-new four-door coupe’s sportiness.”
The package will debut at the 2018 New York auto show with unique 19- or 20-inch rims, a unique front bumper, glossy plastic rear spoiler and plenty of R-Line badging all around. VW assures us that all these changes are “performance inspired.”
Inside the performance inspired makeover is present but subtle, with contrast stitching on the steering wheel (which gets paddle shifters) and shifter knob, as well as “black headliner; stainless-steel sport pedal covers; and stainless-steel door sills with the R-Line logo.”
In the US the only engine option available for the Arteon is the 2.0-liter TSI engine, but buyers will be given the option of 4Motion all-wheel drive on all trim levels too. The Arteon will hit Stateside showrooms this fall.
