This is the all-new Audi A7 Sportback

Or rather a grainy, leaked shot of a scale model of the new A7

Dutch magazine AutoWeek has published two low res shots that appear to show the all-new Audi A7 in scale model form. From the looks of it, it seems our rendering we posted not long ago was really rather accurate (not that it's hard to anticipate what Audi's future models are going to look like) and for the most part foreshadowed the actual production model.

In terms of design changes, the biggest difference seems to be at the rear end which looks reshaped compared to that of the current A7. It looks more pert and with less overhang, giving the car slightly more of a sporty wheel-at-each-corner stance.

Front end design of the Audi A7 Sportback appears to have been lifted straight from the Prologue Concept, although due to the low resolution of the photos we can’t see the details properly yet.

But for the most part it will look like an evolution of the current model and we’ll get to see it fully revealed sometime next year at a major motoring venue. It was originally believed that it would be shown at this year’s edition of the Frankfurt motor show, but it seems they’re holding it back until 2018.
