The want is strong
Of course Rimac won’t build a wagon version of the Concept One for a handful of reasons, with the most duh being they’re not making the Concept One electric hypercar anymore and a replacement is also out and about – the Rimac C_Two.
But let’s pretend Rimac or any other third-party builder takes on the challenge of making a wagon out of the Concept One. Just think about it.
The extra metal carbon fiber won’t be a problem since the car already packs 1,224 hp and all the instant torques in the world at 1,600 Nm, all-wheel drive with torque vectoring was always on the table and the design issue is pretty much solved if we look at Aksyonov Nikita’s rendering.
Not to mention anyone driving this would be the coolest mom/dad in the galaxy whether they’re picking up the kids from school or taking a road trip to wherever, as long as asphalt is involved.
All we need to do now is find someone like Callaway, the makers of the Corvette Aerowagon, willing to take up such a project and provide some sort of conversion kit.
But until that happens, we could drown our sorrows with the wagon-ized Porsche Panamera Turbo Sports Turismo or even better, the monster S E Hybrid version.
