Would an M version improve the 6 Series GT’s fortune?

Tough to say, but we have a rendering to discuss

With the 5 Series GT dead and gone, BMW refuses to kill the concept of an executive mixed breed between a large sedan and a coupé-shaped SUV. Which is basically why the 6 Series Gran Turismo was born.

Since this is BMW we’re talking here, the most powerful letter in the world is not a far-fetched proposition to imbue the comfort-oriented 6 Series GT. After all, Munich allowed the M treatment to reach the likes of X5 and X6, thus creating the X5 M and X6 M.

This is where X-Tomi Design’s rendering comes into play, reinforcing the theory that an M6 GT (totally made up name) would fit the BMW range on any given day.

Sure, it’s still a low-slung elephant, but the side effects of its hefty weight would be partially counter-attacked by more power. And for some, more power is always an enticing proposition.

As for appearance, we’ll let you play the critic.
