Which one is better? The GT R or the GT-R?

Affalterbach's red-hot Merc-AMG GT R meets the good ol' Nissan GT-R in Nismo flavor, a car that is heading towards its market exit.
Sure, the Nissan GT-R is no longer in its prime, some might argue, but it still packs 600 hp and a list of improvemnts aimed at keeping it in the game.
Conversely, the Mercedes-AMG GT R is fresh out the oven and takes the AMG GT S to a whole new level thanks to a power boost, wide tracks and extra carbon fiber bits and bobs, including aerodynamic tweaks.
Make no mistake though, they can both deliver a weighty punch when needed, especially on the track. It wasn't the case for this comparo, as Motor Trend opted for a more GT-friendly playground deep inside the the Southern Californian landscape.
Keep in mind that although it's not quite as powerful as Godzilla, the AMG GT R still makes 577 hp and managed to lap the 'Ring in 7:10.92.
You don't mess around with that, as the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and BMW's M4 GTS recently found out.
